Our Campaign aims

A campaign to raise awareness of the Palestinian struggle for freedom and justice.
We support the call for Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions of Israel and Israeli goods.

Greg Wilkinson's update:
The police said they were ending their enquiry, lifting bail
and would take no further action. They returned computer,
papers and other bits and pieces, including boycott posters
and some dregs of red paint. When I asked why the change-about,
they were vague but said it might be lack of evidence. It could
also be messages they were getting from MPs and others. Certainly, there was no
evidence: the alleged offence was conspiracy to commit racially aggravated criminal
damage, but there had been no conspiracy and no racism. The slogan they had cited was
'Boycott Israeli Goods' and the detective in charge seemed to agree that Israel was a
state, not a race, and that some Israeli Jews, among many others, supported a boycott to bring
pressure to bear on the Israeli government and help secure respect for human rights
and international law in Palestine. We here in the Swansea area will continue with
our Boycott, so look out for the dates of future Pickets.

  1. Good news! But it is still unacceptable that the police repeatedly get away with blatantly false arrests and prosecutions.

Palestinian supporters arrested at the visit of the Israeli Ambassador to Cardiff last summer are on trial from Monday at Cardiff magistrates court, facing fabricated charges of assaulting police officers. The trial is expected to last four days. I hope sense prevails there too.
